Are you looking for safe and natural solutions for allergies, bug bites, sunburn, sore muscles and other common problems that come along with the arrival of spring and summer? Then tune into “Sonoran Living Live” tomorrow morning on ABC Ch. 15 (KNXV-TV, Phoenix, Ariz.). Pharmacist Stuart Gethner of Tatum Drug in Cave Creek, Ariz. will provide easy and cost-effective health solutions for these and other common conditions.
Dr. Gethner will review several natural products, including AllergyCalm, an ideal first-line treatment for allergies, especially for those who don’t know much about homeopathic medicines. AllergyCalm combines the most useful single homeopathic medicines into one formula, making it easy to address a range of the most common allergy symptoms, such as itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and itchy throat and nose. It’s free of side effects, and unlike antihistamines, it won’t make you drowsy so you can remain alert and productive.
For great summer skin, Dr. Gethner recommends Calendula. It is one of the most versatile and economical items in a health store for a wide variety of skin irritations. Made from the Garden marigold, Calendula has been applied locally for centuries. Undetectable to others, the topical has no medicinal smell, and is free of artificial colors and perfumes. Use it for treating insect bites and sunburn. It won’t sting when applied to a cut or scraped knee. Or try it as an aftershave on legs or your face. It’s great for minor first degree burns from the backyard barbecue or kitchen stove. It also makes a great naturally shinny lip balm and helps with blisters from new summer sandals.
“Sonoran Living” is a one-hour talk show that features personalities, trends, issues, travel destinations, health tips and entertainment advice. It airs Monday through Friday at 9:00 a.m. PST on ABC Ch. 15 (KNXV-TV) in Phoenix, Ariz. Click here to view the segment online and for more great tips from Dr. Gethner.

I have been giving my dog Sabadil which was very helpful. When I went to buy more he said it’s discontinued. Can you tell me what it was replaced by and if it’s also safe for dog.
Thank you
Hi Janice, no the Sabadil formula is not discontinued, it’s just been renamed to RhinAllergy. You can find it here: BoironUSA.com/product/rhinallergy-tablets.
