Summary:

The QA Technician is responsible for Quality Control/Assurance tasks and processes within Boiron facilities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance and Quality Control duties in the following areas:

  • Perform Quality Control activities utilizing Product Specification documentation and Standard Operating Procedures in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Quality Control inspection of finished products packaged domestically.
  • Quality Control inspection, documentation, release and organization of finished product specialties and generics received from Boiron France.
  • Quality Control inspection and disposition of materials and products used in assembly projects.
  • Compliance review of assembly project batch documentation and finished product release.
  • Inspection and processing product returns.
  • Support various Quality Assurance projects and Quality Control activities.
  • Participate in revision and development of internal documentation and processes when applicable.
  • Collaborate with Branch teams to harmonize compliance activities.
  • Maintain open communication, trouble shoot, and propose solutions with Branch teams to promote the quality culture, resolve challenges and avoid conflict.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education in Life Science or related field and 1-2 years of experience in a Quality or Technical field preferred; High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Required to visit Boiron facilities and offsite locations with occasional overnight travel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software with ability to use; willingness to improve skills with MS and other software/tools provided by Boiron.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and strong organization skills.
  • Work independently in a high paced, multi-tasked environment to support compliance goals and requirements.
  • Self-starter that is hard working with interpersonal and communication skills and an affinity for teamwork.
