Allergies are Nothing to Sneeze At! But AllergyCalm Can Help

Last updated on December 7th, 2023 at 12:36 pm

Outdoor allergies are nothing to sneeze at, and it looks like this season could be one for the record books. Tree pollen is at its worst right now. Then thereโ€™s the grass pollen to contend with until June. Some parts of the country are faring worse than others, particularly the South Atlantic and mid-Atlantic regions. How about the pollen counts in your own area? The website, pollen.com, has a handy allergy alert that can give you your cityโ€™s current level. Todayโ€™s count for Newtown Square, PA, where Boironโ€™s headquarters are located, is a 9.1 out of scale of 12! That means we are seeing a lot of sniffling, sneezing, runny noses and watery eyes in our own backyard.

Statistics show that approximately 40 million people in the U.S. have some type of outdoor allergy so itโ€™s likely you or a loved one are feeling the effects. While there is no cure for allergies, you can treat them with homeopathic medicines. Consider Boiron AllergyCalm. It contains a blend of homeopathic medicines that address various allergy-related problems, including hay fever and other upper respiratory symptoms, such as itchy and runny nose, sneezing, and itchy and watery eyes.* We have it available in tablets for adults and in pellets for children 2 years of age and older. And the good news is that it won’t cause drowsiness or drug interactions.

Over the coming days, check back here to see how some traditional single medicines, better known as our โ€œblue tubes,โ€ can help with a variety of allergy symptoms. Also, look for some of our handy tips on how you can limit the allergens in your own household and feel free to share some of your own.

  1. Have been successfully using Sabadil (adult) for a few years now. Ran out yesterday and for some reason, cannot find it anywhere in Dutchess County, NY. I have called every pharmacy/market (hours on the phone!). Where is the sabadil?? Ent to your website and click on Sabadil…it says page cannot be found! Please tell me how to get it.

    1. Don’t worry Adrienne, Sabadil is still available, but it’s been renamed to RhinAllergy. Click here for the product page or use our store finder and search for RhinAllergy to see a listing of pharmacies and markets near you that carry it.

        1. Hi Becky,

RhinAllergy’s name was changed to AllergyCalm. We are sorry that the link is not working, we’ve attached a new link to AllergyCalm in this response.

          Thanks!

  2. Does your product rhinallergy increase blood pressure over time? I use 3 to 4 tablets per day..thank you

    1. Hello Chris, RhinAllergy does not contain any conventional decongestants or antihistamines which are associated with the increase in heart rate and blood pressure. Additionally, there are no known interactions between RhinAllergy and blood pressure or heart medications you may be taking.

    1. Hi Belinda,

Yes. All Boiron oral tablets or pellets can be taken together. Use common sense and check each medicine’s indications; for example, combining a medicine for sleep with a tonic makes little sense.

      Thanks!

    1. Hi Kathy,

We have medicines such as Camilia Teething for children 1 month and older and ColdCalm Baby for children 6 months and older. For other symptoms, please seek advice from a health care provider.

      Thanks!
