SUMMARY
The Janitor will maintain cleanliness and organization in both warehouses and office areas. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, sanitary, and presentable environment for employees, visitors, and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and sanitize offices, breakrooms, restrooms, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in office and warehouse spaces.
- Empty trash and recycling bins; dispose of waste properly.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas (door handles, railings, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse floors, including debris removal.
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly.
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Maintain consistent cleanliness standards across all areas.
- Complete daily tasks within scheduled 5-hour shift.
- Ensure restrooms and common areas remain stocked and sanitary.
- Support a safe and organized work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
