If your seasonal allergies seem to linger longer than they used to, you’re not alone. Many people are noticing that sniffles, sneezes, and itchy eyes now stretch beyond their usual timeframe. That’s because weather patterns are shifting, and allergy seasons are lasting longer than they once did.
Changing of the Seasons
While nature has its rhythms, our environment is influencing those cycles in new ways. Rising temperatures and shifting weather patterns are causing plants to bloom earlier in the spring and release pollen well into fall. Carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere also play a role. Higher concentrations can lead to increased pollen production, making allergy seasons not just longer but more intense.
One common culprit is ragweed, a plant that thrives in warmer conditions and produces fine pollen that can travel for miles in the wind. In many areas, the ragweed pollen season has been steadily lengthening, exposing more people to its effects for extended periods.
A Holistic Approach to Allergy Relief
With allergy seasons growing, many are discovering the benefits of a more holistic and individualized approach to health. Homeopathy offers a way to relieve symptoms by working with your body rather than simply masking the problem.
Boiron provides a variety of options to suit the needs of adults and children. Some target specific allergens and symptoms, like Natrum muriaticum for runny noses* and Euphrasia officinalis for allergy-related eye irritation*, while other address multiple symptoms at once, such as AllergyCalm. These medicine act without causing drowsiness or interfering with your daily routine.
As we adjust to longer allergy seasons, choosing a solution that fits your lifestyle and overall wellness philosophy is key. Whether you’re spending time outdoors or simply trying to stay comfortable day to day, homeopathic medicines from Boiron offer another way to navigate the season with ease.

How many times a day can you take this
Hi Gail,
You can take 5 pellets of single medicines like Natrum muriaticum and Euphrasia officinalis 3 times a day. If after three days you show no improvement, we recommend consulting your health care professional. If your symptoms improve and you would like to take the medicine for a longer period of time, please consult your health care professional. If you have been given alternate dosage instructions by your health care professional, follow those instructions, as they have been developed specifically for your individual treatment.
The dosing for AllergyCalm Tablets is to dissolve 2 tablets under the tongue every 15 minutes for 1 hour. Then, take 2 tablets 3 times a day until symptoms are relieved. Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days or worsen.
Thanks!
