Reduce Stress the Natural Way

sleeping Make time for adequate sleep. Even a short nap (less than 20 minutes) can be helpful in keeping your mind alert, your body rested and your health at its optimum.
healthyfood Minimize junk food intake. Sugar can increase blood glucose levels and compromise your immune system by decreasing white blood cell activity.
tea Cut out caffeine. Caffeine can heighten stress levels. Try drinking chamomile tea, which can help calm the stomach or promote sleep.
runner Exercise often. Keeping active helps stimulate the immune system and keep it strong.
breathing Take a deep breath. Controlled breathing exercises and mindful breathing will help you feel more relaxed if practiced regularly.
