Ingredients & Formulation

SleepCalm contains several homeopathic active ingredients in one convenient sleep aid medicine. It does not contain melatonin, a synthetic hormone.

A homeopathic medicine’s active ingredients are listed on the product label in Latin, which is the international packaging standard and required by the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States.

HPUS stands for Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States. The HPUS is the official reference for the identity and quality standards of homeopathic starting materials (such as plants), and defines production standards for the manufacturing of homeopathic products. For safety and standardization, the HPUS also establishes the first safe dilution level of homeopathic active ingredients used as OTCs for adults and children.

The HPUS is legally recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration under the federal Food, Drug & Cosmetic Act for homeopathic drug products. Consumers should look for this acronym on labels of homeopathic products to ensure the ingredients were prepared according to the high standards of this official guideline.

SleepCalm Tablets are gluten-free as verified through internal testing conducted by Boiron, the maker of SleepCalm.
