Celebrate National Yoga Month With A Few Beginner Poses

Beginners can discover their inner yogi with a few simple poses that can help create a strong foundation for daily practice.  Yoga and fitness expert Sara Fowler, RN says it’s more important to have proper alignment when practicing these poses rather than “proving how flexible you are.” She also says, “It’s important to engage your core, listen to your body and pay attention to breath in order to determine when you need to reduce or increase the depth of pose and to feel the counter balance.”
