heartAccording to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), heart disease is a major problem in the United Sates, but it is preventable and controllable. To celebrate February as American Hearth Month, here are some tips from the CDC for starting your own journey towards better heart health:

- Eat a healthy diet.

- Maintain a healthy weight.

- Monitor your blood pressure.

- Don't smoke.

- Limit alcohol use.

- Have your cholesterol checked.

- Manage your diabetes.

- Take your medicine.

And here’s one last tip: don’t forget your Arnicare!
