Daycilynsays:

Hi, Please advise. Is Sinusalia still available? I prefer the item Sinusalia and not Sinus Calm. Please advise.

Boironsays:

Hi Daycilyn, Sinusalia has been renamed to SinusCalm. The formula has not changed and it’s still available in tablets and pellets. Please reach out to us at Info@Boiron.com if you have any more questions, thanks!

Christinesays:

I have tried to get sinusalia too…the formula for sinus calm has been lowered and is not that effective. I have also spoken to ppl working in health food stores and they also see the difference. It made my sinus problem worse…why cant they leave a good product alone when its been helping a lot of ppl. Dont try to fool us with saying it’s the same formula..we can tell the difference

Boironsays:

Hi Christine, I hear your concern but I can assure you that nothing about the Sinusalia/SinusCalm formula has changed. It still contains the original active ingredients of Belladonna 3C, Sanguinaria canadensis 3C, and Spigelia anthelmia 3C. Our high-quality medicines are made in France and to better help U.S. customers find the relief they need, we’ve renamed some products. Please don’t hestitate to contact us at Info@Boiron.com or 1-800-BOIRON-1 if you’d like to talk.

Terry hummelsays:

I have post nasal drip,we bought your sanisalua and my doctor said it can put me into afib because it dries out the heart and brain .because of the belladonna.

Boironsays:

Hello Terry, the ingredient in Sinusalia is the homeopathic preparation of Belladonna, not the herb itself. Homeopathic medicines are not contraindicated for use in people with pre-existing conditions (like a-fib) and have no known drug interactions with medications or supplements you may be taking. Please call us at 1-800-264-7661, we’d like to talk more about this with you, thanks!

Chucksays:

The prior comments note a difference of a user’s results between the former and current versions of your sinus product. Since Boiron says that the “formula” is the same, I would ask if the quantities of each ingredient in the “formula” for the Sinus Calm product is the same as was in the Sinusalia product.

Boironsays:

Hi Chuck, we can guarantee that the ingredients and their amounts have remained the same, only the name and packaging were updated in the United States. Our products are available all over the world, so it’s common for our medicines to have different names in other countries. Please give us a call at 1-800-BOIRON-1 (1-800-264-7661) if you’d like to discuss further.

Avasays:

I have read above comment replies from Boiron that formulation has not changed, ie, Sinusalia and SinusCalm are the same. My question is: what is the difference between the SinusCalm tablets (I previously used Sinusalia tablets) and the pellets, in terms of incorporation in system and inactive ingredients.
Thanks

Boironsays:

Hi Ava, both the tablet and pellet forms of SinusCalm contain the same active ingredients in the same homeopathic dilutions. The tablet’s inactive ingredients are croscarmellose sodium (for disintegration), lactose, and magnesium stearate, where as the inactive ingredients in the pellets are lactose and sucrose. You can find this information on the back Drug Facts panels of these and all of our medicines.

Michellesays:

I have been a vegan for two years now and went to take some Sinusalia recently as I have used it for several years and I was disappointed to find out there is lactose in it as well as your other homeopathic medicines. Is it necessary for it to be effective? Can’t you use other plant forms of sugar?

Boironsays:

Hi Michelle, yes lactose is an essential inactive ingredient in our medicines that aids in absorption and uniformity of the medicine. However, you can special order single medicine liquid dilutions at your independent health food store. The liquid does not contain lactose or sugar used in the pellets and tablets. Contact us at 1-800-BOIRON-1 if you need help or have any more questions.

Jack Berkowitzsays:

I like the Sinusalia tablets. They are one of the few supplements that work to help my nasal congestion and backdrip subside. I cannot take any medications or supplements with sugar so I will not be buying the pellets

Heathersays:

Is this product safe to use for my sinuses even though it has belladonna 3chpus

Boironsays:

Hi Heather, yes homeopathic medicines like Belladonna are prepared using microdoses of the substance, which removes toxicity and makes them safe to be sold over the counter.
