Ultramarathoner Jeremy Koontz Conquers the Ironman With Some Help From Boiron
We recently heard from one of our favorite elite triathlete and ultramarathoners, Jeremy Koontz. Jeremy finished last weekend’s Ironman 70.3 in Austin, Texas in under five hours! It wasn’t an easy road to the finish line, though, and Jeremy was thankful to have Arnicare and Calendula on hand.
About two weeks before the Ironman 70.3 in Austin, I fell off my bike and scraped the side of my leg. I used Calendula Ointment for the first time, and now I will never go back to commercial ointments. Calendula was soothing and refreshing on contact, and within the first 24 hours, I could tell the ointment was speeding up the healing process. In the same week, I went for an open water swim in my wetsuit, and the strap that holds the zipper up kept rubbing the back of my neck every time I turned my head to breathe. Afterwards, I had a mild burn from the friction. Once again, Calendula came to the rescue!
Following the Ironman, I hobbled back to my car, aching and sore from head to toe, and began taking two Arnicare Tablets every couple of hours. Almost immediately, I began to notice the difference, experiencing minimal swelling (none at all, really) and decreased pain and soreness. The tablets definitely make the recovery process a lot easier!
Endurance athletes are always looking for products that help them push a little harder for just a little longer. Every little advantage helps, and even the smallest aid or product for reducing pain or increasing recovery time goes a long way. Arnicare offers a line of such products that are not just a natural alternative to commercial drugs and topical treatments, but are actually SUPERIOR in quality and effectiveness. I strongly recommend to marathoners, triathletes, cyclists, and all endurance athletes to try Arnicare Gel or Cream and Tablets and see for yourself what a difference they make.
A big thank you to Jeremy for his valuable feedback on our medicines! We wish you the best of luck in your upcoming races. Don’t forget to pack your Arnicare and Calendula!
