Healthy Herbal Traditions Workshop at Rodale Institute
Always wanted to make your own natural skincare with flowers and herbs from your garden? Here’s your chance to learn how! Rodale Institute is offering a Healthy Herbal Traditions II hands-on workshop, sponsored in part by Boiron, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at its 330-acre farm in Kutztown, Pa.
The class will be led by Rachel Pontillo, licensed aesthetician and author of Love Your Skin, Love Yourself. Pontillo will share her top DIY herbal skincare products through a series of tutorials. During the workshop, participants will make a bottle of Calendula-infused oil and a small jar of Calendula salve to take home. The Calendula being used for the workshop was grown, harvested, and dried from the Boiron Medicinal Garden, located at the Institute.
